As for the view, even though around Vermouth-hour the sunbeds are replaced with dining tables, the infinity pool in the room looks equally fine and elegant in winter. As the rooftop pool was heated, there were a few guests at the hotel, just like last year, who were swimming.

You can end up in front of the line, where you can look out over Barcelona hours, for ultimate views. Most of them sat in the lounge area, which is understandable as heaters are available. This is the only downside to the Sky Bar, otherwise the warm sun doesn’t hit the terrace in the winter afternoons. Although the views are very cool, with shades contrasting with the sunlight of the region, it also means that sometimes it might not be hot. If not, you can also borrow blankets.

Sky Bar is a must-visit if you are in Barcelona over a winter weekend! While it is recommended that you stay full at Grand Hotel Central, for fantastic cocktails and great views, you must spend at least a few hours on the terrace. Just remember to wear something cold.
