Compelling Graphics Support a Compelling Message
Effective signs and graphics can reinforce and enhance a compelling message, even when it is a difficult message. The San Clemente Youth Coalition recently hosted an important program on ‘Addressing Addiction – Taking Serious Action’. The program featured New York Times best-selling author David Sheff, who wrote ‘Beautiful Boy: A Father’s Journey Through His Son’s addiction’.
Based on our work with other community organizations, the San Clemente Youth Coalition was aware of Starfish Signs design and large format printing expertise, and asked us to contribute to the program. We printed and donated a series of posters chronicling the lives and tragic deaths of young men and women from the San Clemente community. Despite the difficult message, the graphics were thoughtfully designed to allow students and community members to both celebrate the lives of these young people while still delivering a very serious message about the tragedy of addiction. We were pleased to work with the Pencil Box Studios on the design of the posters.
Many public events – book-signings, public hearings, lectures, community meetings and fundraisers – involve a great deal of spoken content. No matter how compelling the speakers, listeners also like to be visually engaged. Graphics have a unique way of reinforcing and supporting a spoken message. So whether your interest is banners, posters, wall graphics, Starfish Signs and Graphics can help your organization and your message: Stand Out. Be Noticed. Get Results.
