Hemp cigarettes are a relatively new phenomenon, but they have been gaining in popularity over the last few years. CBD hemp cigarettes are one of the more popular variants of these products, as many people feel that it is easier to get high off of them than traditional tobacco-based cigarettes. However, there is some debate about how much higher you can actually get from smoking CBD hemp cigarettes. In this article, we will explore this question and see what science has to say about it! CBD hemp cigarettes contain about 25% CBD and 0.25% THC, while tobacco contains around 12%. This means that you can have up to seven times higher of a dose when smoking CBD hemp cigarettes than from traditional tobacco ones. There are some reports in the scientific literature of people getting high off of their first smoke with these types of products, but it is unclear whether or not this was just due to the placebo effect. In one study they found no significant changes between baseline levels and after taking 20 puffs on a single vape cartridge containing 250 mg per ml (0.33ml total). It's possible that the low-level THC content doesn't provide enough psychoactive effects for many smokers who want relief without feeling high. In a 2011 study with CBD hemp cigarettes, they found that the peak THC level in blood plasma was 0.13 ng/ml (0.00026% BSA). The maximum legal limit for driving is five nanograms per milliliter of blood serum; this means you could potentially get high from smoking these products if your tolerance is low enough! However, it's worth noting that on average people who smoke typically have around 15ng/ml when not using any substances at all--so we're talking about very small amounts relative to what most people experience naturally as well as having an effect on someone without much tolerance, to begin with.
