Think vehicle wraps are for large companies with an entire fleet of vehicles? Think again. Here are the top 5 reasons why vehicle wraps benefit home services companies even with just one vehicle.

5. People won’t think you’re a stalker

4. Wraps are protective, but not permanent

3. Wraps are affordable

2. Advertise your business while you’re traveling

1. Advertise your business while you’re working

People won’t think you’re a stalker. These days with so many people working from home and neighborhood watch associations keeping an eye on the neighborhood, if you show up in an unmarked or lightly marked vehicle people will notice that you are “out of place”, particularly if you are making trips back and forth between your vehicle and the neighbor’s house. It’s better to show the neighbors that you are a professional business person by visually communicating that with your business name, what you do, some contact information and that you are not a threat.

Wraps are protective but not permanent. Wraps provide protection from UV rays, road tar and gravel, and elemental items such as rain and sleet. Wraps are warrantied typically from 1-7 years and are optimally removed 4-5 years after the application. This allows you to put the wrap on and either leave it or remove it and sell the vehicle at some point. If the vehicle were painted with the logo or contact information it would be much more difficult to sell.

Wraps are affordable. The beauty of wraps in terms of cost is that you can do as little as see-thru window warps to partial wraps to full vehicle wraps and add on as your budget increases. Additionally, wraps are some of the most cost efficient and effective marketing solutions available, particularly to a home services business that is looking to leverage every job they do by also selling to the neighbors.

Advertise your business while you’re moving. Does anyone really believe traffic is getting better anywhere? Of course not, and that can work to your advantage. Since your business requires you to travel to and from each customer location the more people that are on the road the more people see and know how to contact your business. What do you think people pay for those billboards that people drive by on the highways and major roads? Quite a bit right? If you have a warp on your vehicle those same people are seeing your business at a fraction of the cost of one of those billboards.

Advertise your business while you’re not moving. As mentioned earlier, the neighbors are taking notice of who is in their neighborhood. Having a well identified wrapped vehicle will let folks know who their neighbors trust to let into their house and provide services. This is even more effective with restoration and remodel type services since neighborhoods tend to be of a consistent age; meaning if one house needs cabinet or flooring repair others in the area will as well. The same goes for bathroom remodeling or counter tops. There is always the “keeping up with the Jones” mentality since when one family sees that a neighbor is getting a new hot tub, having their lawn service done or carpeting replaced it sets a new standard for them to keep up with.
