Drive up and down the main drag of almost any suburban area and you will see banners of all shapes and sizes along the roadway, strung between poles, on fences and across storefronts. Banners are ubiquitous in our landscape because the meet three important criteria as signs:

1. Vinyl banners are inexpensive. For short term use, a printed or cut vinyl banner is a highly cost effective way to create a large, temporary sign.
2. Banners are easy to install. Unless you are hanging a 20' x 40' building sized banner, or very high off the ground, most banners can be installed by the end user with simple zip ties or anchor screws.
3. Banners come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, colors and are often "active" (they move in the wind and catch the eye).
