1. Get your vehicle wrapped by a reputable sign shop or installer who uses cast vinyl and matching over laminate recommended by the vinyl manufacturer. Your vehicle should not have any rust or patches if the wrap is to lay flat and stay put.
2. Ensure that the installer seals all of the seams with a sealant pen.
3. Use only a touch-less car wash to clean your wrap.  The over laminate used in most wraps is glossy and you want to avoid scratching the surface. Because the vinyl is protecting the paint finish of the vehicle, there is no need to use wax when you wash it. In many cases, you can rinse the vehicle with a hose to remove road grime.
4. If you notice any areas of the wrap that are damaged or appear to be releasing from the vehicle, contact your installer and have the wrap repaired.
