What Type Of Ceiling Tiles Does The Program Accept?
The program accepts tiles of all shapes and sizes, but if you want to be sure that your tiles are going to work, you should follow these guidelines:
If your tiles are rectangular, they must be no more than 1.5 inches in width and no less than 0.75 inches in height.
If your tiles have an irregular shape, they must be no more than 2 inches by 2 inches.
If your tiles have holes or gaps in them (for example, if they’re made with a perforation machine), then the holes must be no more than 0.25 inches wide and 0.75 inches long—or else they’ll be rejected automatically by our system without being reviewed first!
What Types Of Tiles Are Not Accepted?
If you have asbestos-containing ceiling tiles, red or pink-backed ceiling tiles, wet or moldy ceiling tiles, or any gypsum ceiling board in your home, you might be wondering if those can go into the recycling bin. The short answer is no.
Here’s the deal: these types of items contain asbestos, which is a toxic material that can cause health problems when it’s inhaled by humans and animals. So even though they’re already broken down and don’t look like they’d pose much of a risk to anyone who handled them, we just can’t take them because there are no safe ways to dispose of them.
