Dumpster Service by Richard S. Burns
We have a dedicated dumpster service to help you recover and recycle waste from your job site. We offer two options:
- You allow us to deliver dumpsters to your job site.
- You can bring it to our facility yourself.
We offer a number of dumpsters and containers in 30, 20, and 10 cubic yard sizes. Plus, we can also fulfil specific job requirements, regardless of whether you have challenging site conditions or incredibly high volume needs. Moreover, we even have a wide array of small-sized containers on dollies that allow the use of containers in tight spaces, where a regular-sized dumpster may not be feasible.
Permitting Requirements
Regardless of what dumpster service you opt for, you need to prepare your site accordingly and make sure you adhere to permitting requirements.
The City of Philadelphia necessitates the owner of the property to have an Equipment Placement Application that allows the holder to place the container on the pavement or street. The permit is essential as containers can potentially block the public’s way. In addition, the owner of the property is also in charge of covering the dumpster when it’s not being used to keep the surrounding area clean and prevent odour problems.
Selecting and Preparing the Site
Wood planks have to be placed under the containers wheel to prevent damage to paved surfaces or driveway. Placing containers on soft surfaces or grass will damage those surfaces. Being the customer, you are in charge of placing and removing the dumpster and any damage that occurs during the work.
Limitations of Container
- Dumpsters of 10 cubic yards require at least 37′ clearance.
- Dumpsters of 30 and 20 cubic yards require at least 40′ clearance. Loads of brick, concrete, clean fill, sand, and dirt need to use dumpsters of 20 or 10 cubic yards.
