Let’s discuss the project in detail and the solutions we came up with.
Monument and Directional Signs Project for Lakeview Terrace
A while back, we were approached by Lakeview Terrace, a real estate and rental outfit in Kansas City, MO. They wanted us to make directional signs as well as monument signs for them. For a company like ours that does such projects on a daily basis, we were excited to lend our expertise.
For both directional and monument signs, we used faux rock pillars. The graphics and the text were routed and painted. A common threat to signage in this area is tornadoes and strong winds. Therefore, we had to ensure that the material we used for the signs was strong and durable.
Hence, we designed signs that could sustain winds that are as fast as 185 miles per hour. With such signs, our clients would not have to worry about cracks or wear and tear over time. Both the monument and directional signs are also manufactured to withstand impacts from vehicles. In most cases, all that is required is a little touch up paint.
For Lakeview Terrace, we made two monument signs and two directional signs, which you can see in the attached images.
Final Few Words
Our project with Lakeview Terrace was a complete success. What pleases us even more is the fact that we managed to overcome project obstacles while not increasing cost to Lakeview and manufactured a quality product that will endure over the years. In doing so, we managed to add value to their business with our technical and creative expertise. We look forward to partnering with Yes Communities on future projects.
