When Connection Point Church (formerly First Baptist Raytown) contacted us, they had their church members and first time guests in mind. They wanted to make sure visitors to their church knew where to go and how to get there. What better way to do that than with wayfinding signs?
It is a well-known fact that organizations that provide a great customer experience for their guests are more likely to turn them in to repeat visitors. And if they have a great experience they are likely to share it with their friends, family, neighbors and colleagues. So, when Connection Point Church called us to develop wayfinding signs for 5 locations throughout their parking lot – we knew they wanted their visitors to easily navigate their property.
We got to work designing the signs and ordered aluminum extrusion copy bar systems from SignComp. The bars were 2”x4” mill finish aluminum – not very pleasing to the eye. So, we painted the bars white and the round posts blue – matching Pantone color designation to make them cohesive with current branding standards.
When the posts were ready, we applied print/cut 3M IJ35 vinyl to them and hauled them out to the site. Next, we dug into the ground and built forms to set the posts in a concrete footing for stability. Another benefit? We made sure it was easy to mow around the posts, minimizing possible damage to the base at each mowing.
