A couple of months ago, we were contacted by Gordon Dental to design and install new interior and exterior signage for the new business location. Prior to their move, though, they needed temporary signage explaining to their current and prospective clients when and where they were moving.
Gordon Dental is a dental practice in Leawood, Kansas that provides high-quality dental care for patients of all ages. They deliver patient-centered care that is personalized to each individual’s needs. They focus on affordable luxury with an emphasis on implants, implant dentures, and cosmetic and restorative dental treatments. In their words, “Our dental practice strives to provide the highest quality dental care possible in an atmosphere that is welcoming and calm.”
The first step we needed to take was making sure everyone in the neighborhood knew that their new office was coming soon. So, we designed, produced and installed an exterior banner for the storefront that was eye-catching and stood out to prospective clients.

xt, we started work on the interior, keeping in mind their need for patient privacy and a clean, modern and classy feel. First, we Designed, Manufactured and Installed an Internally LED Illuminated Individual Channel Letter System. Exterior mounted to the brick facia and wired through a parapet wall into the electrical raceway. We used White LED and white acrylic sign faces to provide high-contrast visibility as well as a consistent look across the shopping center.
When the interior of the new location was close to being finished, we Designed and Produced 3M Dusted Crystal Frost vinyl and installed it to each of the dental patient rooms and front office rooms. Again, this was to provide patient privacy in a classy, modern way.
Once the frost vinyl for the patient rooms was installed, we moved to the storefront. We Designed, Produced and Installed storefront Window & Door Graphics using White 3M 50 Series Calendared Vinyl.
Let’s not forget about the lobby! We had to remove the ¼” polished, flat-cut, aluminum Interior Dimensional Lobby Sign and Reinstalled it into the new location. Then, we Designed, Manufactured and Installed a Custom Dimension Halo-Lit Lobby Sign.
We made the layers with ¼” satin finish aluminum in the back, brushed finish, aluminum ‘pattern’ design in the middle, brushed aluminum, Internally LED Illuminated (Halo-Lit) Reverse Channel Letter for the top. All of this was mounted with satin finish Stand-Offs.
But, what good is all of this interior beauty if people don’t know the business is open?
So, we Designed, Produced and Installed 3 “GRAND OPENING” Feather Flags and a new “GRAND OPENING” banner. We were honored to work so hard on Gordon Dental’s signage needs (even in the sweltering heat!) because they provide high-quality dental care for people of all ages!
