Recently, we were contacted by Chris Mullen of Farmers Insurance, an Agency in Leawood, KS.
As a new tenant of a building where the unit is a part of a group of units, it is easy for some to get a little overwhelmed by all the ins and outs of the permitting process and permitted signage. Chris had inquired about Exterior Signage for his new agency. Fortunately for him, he came to the professionals. We understand that the City, landowners, and property managers ultimately have a right to say how they want their building to look. Depending on this, the leaser may have limited options available.
Exterior Before
At Forerunner Signs & Graphics, we take care of most of the “nitty gritty” so that your experience is as pain-free as possible. By doing the proper leg work, we found out that we needed to stay within a city ordinance of 5% of the façade. This is plenty of room for how we wanted to transform this sign band.
Reverse Channel Lettering is a great way to stand out among the crowd. It adds a great deal of dimension to the exterior signage. When completed correctly, the Channel lettering creates an impact on how the surrounding buildings and environment appears to its community. For Farmers Insurance, a well-known, national company, we wanted to maintain their image and integrity. By using the Branded Font, we custom-made Reverse Channel Lettering 12 inches tall with a Brushed aluminum metallic silver finish, and painted sides to match. The inners are welded together creating a true work of art! To add more to the character of the signage, we individually mounted the letters. This means that there was no raceway to tie all of the letters together. Instead, each individual letter has its own pin pattern to stud mount (concealing all of the hardware we used) and appear seamless.
Exterior After
