Recently, we were contacted by Jennie Bjorem of Children’s Therapy Services. She and the team at CTS provide speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, developmental & behavior therapy. This includes (but is not limited to) sensory, social early age, and parenting skills. CTS started out as a home-based business offering assistance to families. However, the organization is now helping more than 5,000 around the Kansas City Metro. Since CTS was growing, th
ey needed more space for their Services. So, they acquired a 3,700 square foot facility to better accommodate the entire CTS family.
At Forerunner Signs & Graphics, we just LOVE helping businesses like CTS grow! By expanding to a larger location, Jennie needed Interior signage to keep the CTS look and feel. We were able to accomplish that for CTS’ Open house while keeping a low budget. In order to do this. we used our HP Latex 360 and printed on 3M’s IJ35 Calendared vinyl and protected all the vinyl used by using a beautiful Luster Laminate. Using a Latex Printer is far superior in the latest technology when under tight schedules. One is able to print out a project without having a 24 hour gas out timeframe like the solvent counterpart printers on the market.
First, we started off by making sure the CTS logo was on their entry door. To cut out any graphics precisely, we used our Graphtec 8600 plotter. It works great to make sure that any cut graphics, like logos, are precise every time. 
New at Children’s Therapy Services is “The Sensory Table”. It is a place to learn and explore while engaging senses. Not only is it a terrific place for kids with autism, but a great place for all kids! Being in a fun and welcoming atmosphere, Jennie wanted to make the Sensory Logo Playful and LARGE. With Cut Graphics more than 4 feet tall, our printer and plotter worked extremely well together!
It is truly a blessing what Children’s Therapy Services is able to do; and to showcase this, Jennie wanted to add images of some of their kids working with the Sensory table on a set of 9 glass panels, which are 16×16 inches each. Again, we used Premium Vinyl and Laminate, which is perfect for these glass surfaces.
By creating this montage, you can tell that CTS is just as proud of their family as we are of ours and our products!
