The Kansas School of Classical Ballet (KSCB) is a not-for-profit organization, devoted to providing the finest training available to students interested in learning the art of ballet. Located in historic downtown Overland Park, at 7330 W 80th St., the building is surrounded by diverse shopping, restaurants. Talk about a great location – being right next to the Overland Park Farmer’s Market! Imagine thousands get to see KSCB on a weekly basis. The ballet is also in residence with Physiques, which is a Pilates and Gyrotonic studio that offers fitness training for individuals and small groups.

Juan Pablo Trujillo and Stefani Schrimpf are the proud owners and operators of the studio. When Juan Pablo contacted us with the idea of wanting to do some window graphics, we were thrilled to be given the opportunity! Their idea was to showcase a bit more of who they are and what they do as a studio; while giving those in attendance a bit of privacy. As professionals, we knew immediately that applying Window Perf was the best solution for Juan and Stefani’s studio.
Window Perf or Perforated Vinyl maximizes the business front to any advertising they would like to display. It consists of pre-perforated holes in the vinyl so when it is printed on, you can display an image on the face of the vinyl while also being able to see outside through the holes in the vinyl. Depending on the perf count, you can adjust your visibility through the vinyl and manage the quality of the final print. For KSCB, we chose a lesser hole count to creates a greater sense of privacy for those inside; giving us the ability to use High Resolution imagery to see the fine detail Juan was looking for!
For this project, KSCB wanted an interior apply. Interior apply window perf graphics are not typical in the industry; but we aim to please. At Forerunner Signs & Graphics, we operate a HP Latex360. The quality is reported to be one of the highest in the printing industry, there is no gas-out time and is very efficient. We chose to use the Illusion 70/30 Non-Adhesive Perforated Window Vinyl and used the GF 116-54 Mounting Film with Air Egress to apply to the window. Below are some images of the project.

As you can see, the finished project definitely turned out amazing. Juan Pablo and his wife Stefani Schrimpf were absolutely pleased with it – as was everyone both Kansas School of Classical Ballet and at Physiques.
