The most important thing is to make sure that people have the information they need, like location, maybe even directions and what time of day the wedding will be held, so that people will make it to the venue on time without any issues. You may really like a fancy font, but if people can’t read the font, there will be issues. You may get a lot of questions, and if you are busy like most people are right before their wedding, having one less thing to worry about is a good thing.
Cardstock
The thickness of the material that the wedding invitations are printed on plays into the design in a big way. If you want to have a very elegant wedding out in a garden with beautiful flowers everywhere, for example, you might like a cardstock that has some texture with a matte feel to help match your overall theme. If you’re having a very modern wedding in a high-rise building in the downtown area of a big city, you may or something with a little bit more of a glossiness to it, or specific areas of gloss, called spot UV printing.
Graphics / Design
Lastly, the overall design and graphics are what will really help tie into your theme or the style that you are looking for.
