Come join Chef Marty at the Alameda County Fair on July 2 1-1:30 pm to see and taste some of his latest creations!

Using the best of California’s summer harvest, Chef Marty will demonstrate how you can easily prepare delicious vegetarian and vegan appetizers at home. Have a taste of California’s sun-ripened tomatoes with the Tomato Tartare on Parmesan Crisp. Vibrant and bright, tomato tartare is paired with a thin parmesan crisp for a bite of summer. 

What’s summer without watermelon? Fresh Tomato & Watermelon skewers are a perfect way to cool off.   An amazing amalgamation of savory & sweet –  crisp bite sized watermelon is contrasted with summer’s heirloom tomatoes – similar in texture, you will be surprised by this delicious combination.  

And come and see a twist on ceviche, a popular seafood dish from Peru.  Introducing Vegan Ceviche, a fresh and tangy delight, without any meat!  Using Chayote squash, and the traditional ceviche ingredients of jalpaenos, white onions, cilantro and lime juice, served with a plantain chip – you won’t believe how fabulous this tastes!
