Sometimes It Costs More to Do It Yourself

Have you ever tried to do it yourself? Have you ever considered trying to fix your own car in order to save some money? Sometimes it's best to hire a professional. You may plan on saving some money, and maybe learning a little something about your car in the process, but in the end, often times, you end up spending a lot more time and money than you had intended. Take this case in point, a 1999 Mercedes Benz C320 owner. Our lead technician, Tony, said that the customer was having some starter issues, and so they decided to try and repair their starter themselves. After having trouble getting it to work, they decided to bring it to us to figure out what was causing their issues. As you can see in the video, the issue had to do with a faulty ground wire.  Had had some proper maintenance been addressed, it never would have escalated to an issue with the starter. Thankfully, Tony was able to get the issue diagnosed quickly, and get the customer's car put back together.
