Christmas is right around the corner. Okay, maybe it is a couple months off yet based on the calendar, but for us at Christmas Light Pros of Tennessee it is here. I feel like an elf working at the North Pole getting everything ready before the big night. Making sure all the equipment and lights are in tip top shape for our customers. Over the past couple of weeks, our commercial customers have also starting thinking about the holidays. They have started contacting us by phone and through our website. Typically new customers provide us with a picture or diagram of their facility. Then we have a conversation with the potential client about what they want and also what their budget is for the project. Depending on the scope of the project, sometimes an onsite visit is necessary. After the initial conversation, we start working on a proposal with options that we feel addresses the customer's wants and needs. We can meet for a follow up in person or over the phone to discuss our proposal.  Any changes that are required by the customers are noted and changed in the proposal. If the proposal is satisfactory, then the projects are added to our installation schedule. Typically residential customers start thinking about installing Christmas lights right before Thanksgiving. And of course they want have their  house and yards lit up the Friday after Thanksgiving.
