Recently, we were contacted by a company who was taking over another company that was in the same business. A contract manufacturing facility known as Ducommun is now Intervala and Signs of Excellence is in the process of changing all of their signage. Since there were many types of signs that had to be replaced to reflect the new company name, we were excited to be chosen by Intervala to perform the work.
The first photo displays one of the larger signs we created at fifteen feet long and about two feet tall. The second photo shows an additional sign which is eight feet wide and four feet tall. The large sign is mounted directly to the wall using ½ inch stand offs. The smaller sign features PVC letters mounted on aluminum panels. We recovered the aluminum sheets with a thin sheet of metallic vinyl after we removed the former company’s name and logo. To make the globe that you can see on the left side of the logo, we used our CNC machine to cut the PVC circle. Each letter as well as the globe logo are adhered with studs on the back that are inserted into drilled holes in the wall so they stay in place.
