We often get calls from people wanting a brand new sign because they have a new font or logo, they no longer want neon lights, or any number of reasons. We replace their signs when that is the best choice, but sometimes all their signs need is an update. When you can fix something instead of replacing it, you have saved money. Gilton were looking for an update of their signs and we were happy to help.
As you can see in the image, this sign looks brand-new! In fact, this was an existing monument sign whose letters and numbers we replaced. We also repainted the sign so the entire thing, from top to bottom, is looking new and fresh.

For this project, we gave them new router-cut aluminum with push thrus for their monument sign. Plus, acrylic cut-out FCOS for the address numbers. We cut out the sign’s existing aluminum faces and replaced them with the updated faces. The aluminum router also had vinyl overlays. We used a printed vinyl on 3M Perforated (to match we used a 3M 27 Indigo with 1815). Perforated vinyl is aesthetically pleasing as it allows sunlight to easily flow through and make the sign more noticeable. The lower FCOs were flush to the sign and stud mounted. We used ½” thick acrylic. The FCOs were also painted to match using the same 3M 37 Indigo. The monument sign itself we painted as well as Tex coated, and we used a BM Cream Fleece, making it like a whole new sign.
