Recently, we received a call from the folks over at Unitek College in Sacremento, California who were looking for a new sign for the exterior of their building. After speaking with them we determined that an Illuminated Channel Mount Sign was exactly what they needed. Our LED signs allow for bright illumination at night so there is never any trouble finding the Unitek campus.
As you can see in the photo, the most striking and important feature of this sign is the use of LED bulbs to illuminate it. Each white letter face is LED illuminated and all letters were flush mounted with a remote power supply. LED bulbs are a smart choice, as they are both highly efficient and cost-effective.
Unitek College is located in Sacremento, California and according to their website their programs “prepare students by giving them access to healthcare facilities, applied training, and professional instruction.” They are also proud to have been recognized “as a “School of Excellence” by the Accredited by Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC).”
The illuminated wall-mounted sign we created for Unitek College was outfitted with 5” deep black aluminum letter returns. The black letter returns offered a nice contrast to the white acrylic sign faces with vinyl overlays included. Their logo showcases a ¾” black trim cap that matches the black aluminum on the sides of the letters. The white acrylic sign faces were printed to match and used a PMS 631c translucent vinyl.
