We met up with the MJC Pirate’s baseball team and spoke to them about a sign they wanted to erect recognizing the team’s sponsors. They decided to go with an exterior sign frame that allowed multiple openings to include not only their current sponsors but future sponsors as well. We agreed with them that an exterior sign frame with a Lexan sign face was the right way to go.
As you can see in the photograph, this exterior sign frame looks impressive against its bright background. The spaces in the sign are just the right size to feature the Pirates’ sponsors clearly while still showcasing the school’s crest. The sign is right at home outside the baseball field.
Modesto Junior College is located in sunny Modesto, California where two of their players earned All-Big-8 Conference Honors. To learn more about the Pirates and their baseball team, visit them at http://athletics.mjc.edu/sports/bsb where you can see current schedules and the team’s roster.
This exterior sign frame features a Lexan sign face and is constructed from sturdy metal. We painted the metal black to match the look of their existing baseball stadium. The particular materials we chose for this sign are what elevates the look and make it more attractive to the human eye. For the cut vinyl overlays, we went with a 3630-12, black and white. The white background on each square brings out the colors of each sponsor’s logo which makes the different logos that much more noticeable. Sponsors logos were then added as individual prints on a 3M 180C-10 w/ 3M 8518 laminate.
No matter what sort of business you are in, if you have sponsors, you need a way to recognize every one. You can do this as the MJC Pirates did or you can choose to do it in a variety of other ways. You can have indoor signs that you hang on the wall or banners that you hang on the side of your building. Another great idea is a pop-up vertical sign that you can easily set out anytime you have an event where specific sponsors need to be thanked.
