Recently, the Modesto Bee newspaper reached out to us to create an indoor branding display with our acrylic flat cut out letters (FCOs). Acrylic FCO letters are a popular choice for this type of signage, because they make an excellent first impression when visitors enter a business. The Modesto Bee’s acrylic FCOs certainly command attention.
The Modesto Bee has been around since 1884 and is well known as a news source in central California, serving over 55,000 regular morning subscribers and even more on Sundays. We were excited to work with the Modesto Bee, understanding how valuable it is to its readers and partners.
We worked with the Modesto Bee to create a design that suited the space, from the dimensions of the signage area, to the materials and mounting method that would work well with the wall’s materials.
For the Bee’s office display, we selected router cut 1/2″ thick acrylic FCO letters stud mounted flush to the wall. The thickness of the letters, and the accuracy of router cutting, create a sharp look. We painted the acrylic FCOs black to make the lettering stand out even more. As you can see in the photo, the sign really adds presence to the office, and makes it clear that this is Modesto Bee’s space. Our acrylic FCOs have refreshed the Modesto Bee’s office space, with affordable products and a design that will continue to look great through many more years of use.
