Polymetal signs are signs that are made from a polyethylene core in between two thin sheets of aluminum. These signs typically come from companies such as Alupanel an DiBond. They are rigid and durable, making them great for mid to long term usage, inside or outside. Polymetal signs can be finished with cut vinyl or printed vinyl graphics and can be cut to size or routed to a specific shape. Outside, they can be installed onto exterior walls with standard screws, or inside with double sided tape and silicone. These signs are relatively inexpensive and have a very aesthetic appearance.
The photos to the left are from a job City Signs completed at Perks Coffee in Hughson, CA. Production consisted of routing the material and applying printed vinyl graphics. The signs were then installed onsite which not only helped identify the business but also enhanced the building.
