A project that Experience Signs completed earlier in the year is still performing well for the client. The Huntsville Area Association of Realtors in downtown Huntsville wanted their building to be very recognizable and “pop” in daylight and at night.
The image to the left shows the two layered acrylic sign where the realtor emblem glows into the night. Recently, I attended The Huntsville Area Association of Realtors monthly luncheon where many of the attendees commented on the beuty of the sign.
The highlight of the luncheon was an inspirational talk on realtor saftey by Carl Carter of Little Rock Arkansas. Carl’s mother Beverly was a successful real estate agent in Litlle Rock that in abducted and ultimately killed by a would be client. While heart wrenching, Carl’s talk was focused on using his mother’s memory to help raise safety awarenes for other realtors around the country. A nonprofit called The Beverly Carter Foundation was created to allow the memory of Beverly Carter to live on and continuosly help other realtors ensure their saftey while executing their very important jobs. At the luncheon, it was very apparent that the community of realtors is very tight knit and functions very much like an extended family. I was very impressed throughout the luncheon. Every time I see the glow of the halo behind the realtor emblem, I’ll think of that amazing women who lost her life pointlessly. Also, I think of how her families relience is ensuring that her life continues to be impactful for others.
If you ever have the opportunity to attend an event where Carl Carter tells the story of his mother Beverly, please make time to attend. You won’t be sorry. Also, please support the Beverly Carter Foundation as much as possible. Safety of our realtors and any other business person who regularly work with strangers is imperative.
