Recently, Experience Signs was contacted by Hiley Mazda of Huntsville, Alabama to assess the best approach to replacing the Mazda Blue Vinyl on the Pylon Sign out in front of the business. Through years of exposure to the sun the vinyl was severely faded and not representing the Mazda corporate brand to the standards necessary.

Simple changes to weather worn or other condition issues make a big difference in how a company is viewed by the public. while Mazda is a very respected brand, a dealership could either damage the corporate brand by not keeping the signage in pristine condition or provide a negative impression of the dealership sending potential buyers to another Mazda Dealer.

The two three options considered for upgrading the vinyl were to remove the letters and do the replacement in the shop, place new vinyl directly over the old vinyl in place and remove and replace with new vinyl in place. For expediency and quality, Experience Signs chose to leave the letters on the sign and remove and replace the vinyl in place. The job was completed in one day and delighted the customer.
