Recently, Experience Signs was contacted by the owner of Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe to update their branding to the company’s latest graphics and logo. The job entailed removing the existing sign faces and replacing them with new sign faces that reflected the up to date branding.
The image to the left reflects the original branding of the restaurant. It was very classic, elegant and text based with darker colors. The image below shows the new branding with a that includes a cleverly designed logo and vibrant almost neon green to bring out the excitement people feel when dining at the restaurant. The new sign faces draw in the viewer immediately.
The inspiration for Taziki’s came when, in 1997, Keith Richards and his wife Amy were vacationing in Greece where they discovered small-table Mediterranean cafés where everyone 
in the community gathered together to connect around healthy flavors and to celebrate life! They enjoyed the food, but also observed a deeper kind of warmth and connection that moved them to say – “That’s what I want to spend my life doing.” After returning home, Taziki’s was born with embracing the Mediterranean lifestyle. that emphasizes eating primarily plant-based foods, replacing butter with healthy fats such as olive oil and canola oil, using herbs and spices instead of salt to flavor foods, limiting red meat to no more than a few times a month, eating fish and poultry at least twice a week, enjoying meals with family and friends, drinking red wine in moderation and getting plenty of exercise.
As a testimonial to the effectiveness of implementing the Taziki’s vision, the Madison store provided game day food for the James Clemens Softball program for all of their home games during the 2017 season. It was very generous of the restaurant to provide the food. The biggest benefit to the program was the food was always fresh, nutritious and provided a great energy source for the players.
