Recently, Experience Signs was contacted by BASF Corporation, the chemical company to create an intersecting traffic sign that could be used to motivate employees to embrace a change initiative embarked on by the company. The idea was to strategically place the sign within the facility for foot traffic viewing as well as be used at events.

Custom signs such as the one discussed here are a very useful tool in advancing a message.
The Experience Signs design team engaged the customer to fully understand all of the requirements. The sign had to look like an authentic intersecting traffic sign. In addition, light weight and easy storage were key. Choosing the base was the most important part of the design. For ease of assembly, disassembly and storage, the team selected a typical artificial Christmas tree base. From there a PVC pole and coupling hardware were easily adapted to fit the base. The actual signs were constructed using 3mm aluminum composite material and printed vinyl. Finally, the signs were attached to the pole using standard traffic sign hardware with thumb screws for easy assembly and disassembly.
