Experience Signs was contacted by a local Commercial Real Estate Company to survey several of their installed signs to determine what could be done to improve the installations to improve the effectiveness of the signs and ensure that their brand was reflected appropriately. After surveying the signs that included various sizes and configurations such as 4 x 4 and 4 x 8 sign faces installed in single, double, and V shape configurations, the Experience Signs design team recommended replacing the traditional wood posts and frames with a steel system.
The image to the left shows one of the original installations that was significantly damaged by the wind and weather. The lower image is that same location with a newly constructed installation using the steel system. In addition to beautifying the installation, the steel frame significantly reduces the area taken up by the frame enabling much better visibility of the sign faces.When vehicles are traveling at moderate to higher speeds, drivers only have a couple of seconds to absorb the important information. The more visible the faces, the better the driver can comprehend.

The construction of the steel system utilizes 1 ½” square steel tube posts that are placed in 2” square tube inserts that are cemented into the ground. The robustness of the configuration makes the sign resistant to all but the most severe winds.
