Louisville, KY – Building Trust in Your Work Team | Business Coaching News

Posted in: Videos

Any team thrives when the members trust each other. Whether you’re discussing athletics, the military or the business world, when a company has a culture of trust there is always a higher level of sustained success.

As a former military member and current business coach, I have been around some high-level teams and seen and experienced first-hand how impactful a trusting organization can be when trying to reach a common goal. My name is Jason Ballard, and I use my life experience in the corporate world and military experience to help companies in the Louisville, KY area perform at their optimum level.

If you have ever been part of a toxic work culture, you understand how difficult it is to work, enjoy your professional life and try to advance your career when you are among a group of people who don’t trust one another. I have consulted with companies who were in this stage, and it’s very difficult to make the transition to a positive environment, but it’s possible when you have proper coaching and leadership.

Trust begins with the leader or leaders of a company. If your organization is suffering from a lack of trust among your team members, there are proven steps you can take to build a positive and trusting culture, if you are willing to make the change.

Leaders must be effective communicators and help every team member understand how their actions not only advance the company’s goals, but how they impact the jobs of everyone around them. When a company realizes they can work together to achieve a common goal, rather than tearing each other down to try to get there on their own, they can accomplish great things.

Building a team of people who are equipped to handle their jobs effectively also builds trust. If you know the person in the department who works alongside you can be counted on to take care of a client, effectively manufacture a product or provide great service, you will have a much easier time trusting them with your workload. Leaders, train your people and allow them to be trusted. It will help your entire organization thrive.

I have included a quote from a recent training I performed regarding trust below to give you an idea of how my services can help your company build trust as well. If your organization can benefit from trust building, I am here to help. Give me a call or fill out the form on my website to get started today.

Trust is huge. Without trust a team really does not go very far, you have to trust the people on the team. When I was in the military, trust was huge, because really in the military lives are on the line.

You had to trust the person in the fox hole next to you, because if you got injured or hurt or anything happened to you, you needed to trust that the next person had your back and they could help you; they can get you to safety, they can deal with a situation, they will take care of you, they will not leave you behind, and you need to know that everybody on the team is going to do that for each other.
