When an owner gets bogged down in the everyday minutia of running their business and fails to keep an eye on the future, the company can experience stagnation or even begin to fail, even if they had a great plan to start out. The first one is focusing on the wildly important. The second one is acting on your lead measures, and we’ll learn more about that here in a minute. The third one is about keeping a compelling scoreboard, and that is really powerful. Scoreboards are critical, and we’ll learn more about that here as well. And the fourth and final aspect of this framework is the cadence of accountability, right? So, we're focusing on what's important, we're measuring certain things, we're keeping score and everybody is accountable in that process at every level.
