Change in any environment is difficult, but in the business world so many companies avoid change at all costs because they feel it will disrupt their operations and set them back a great deal. While the goal to avoid difficulty has validity in some cases, in the business world if your company is stagnant or failing then a change should be made, and the best companies are constantly seeking ways to make their operation run at a more efficient, smoother rate. The reason I talk about this is not like “Ugh, that’s a depressing state of reality,” it's actually to say, when I think of it is a great piece of understanding, because if you understand that, then you can say “I need to do this one step at a time, I just need to get started.” Don't think about step two until you actually start, and probably most importantly, if you start, just work on kind of keep going, don't try to improve it too early. Just get used to saying “this is the thing we do now.”
