I found Jason several years ago: he was recommended to me by a few friends. I sat down with him and had a couple of conversations around where I was professionally. So I had started to realize that where I was currently, I had begun to hit my professional ceiling. I think Jason is very good at being direct on where you may be professionally, and I think sometimes people are surprised by how direct he is and clear he is. It can be a little alarming because he can get right to it, really quickly. And a lot of times – with most of the people that are going to talk to Jason are probably already successful at what they're doing – you have to be willing to listen. You have to be willing to have an open mind to admitting the fact that you don't know everything. So coming to that realization with someone like Jason can be very powerful, because that opens up the conversation around the ‘possible.’ I see Jason as both that shepard like I talked about in the beginning – to get you from point A to point B; I see him as a great translator who can break things down into easily understood bite-sized pieces so you don't feel like it's this huge mountain to climb: that it's a day-by-day, step-by-step of, here’s how we're going to get there. One call, one conversation, one text at a time. That's what happened with me when I realized I had hit my ceiling: I realized I needed to look at other opportunities and other options. That took a while to get there and I'm still on that path with him right now, figuring out where to go and how to continue to develop and grow as a professional and as a person.
