Two new burgers have hit our Santa Monica branch: The Chili Cheese Burger and Top Round ‘Melt‘ burger – here’s why you should immediately drive to us and taste them right now!
Chili Cheese Burger
We take pride in the fact that our food is home-styled and made by people who care! Our Chili Cheese Burger is one more item that has come out of that love and commitment.
Made with beef burger patty layered with shredded lettuce, fresh tomatoes, sweet-and-spicy mustard, pickle mix, and topped with cheddar cheese, the Chili Cheese Burger is the perfect quick-and-filling bite. The punch of the mustard sauce balances out the soft, dense, and sweet buns.
Mix it up with a side of fries and greens. We’d recommend either cheese fries made with our homemade wizz cheese or ‘dirty’ fries, which are a mix of gravy, provel cheese, and caramelized onions.
Wash the fries and burger down with our 127 different coca-cola combinations.
Top Round “Melt“
This is a thick, big and juicy option on our menu, and you might want to bring extra napkins out for this one. Our ‘Melt’ burger is a nod to the classical melts of L.A. The organic, homemade ingredients and sauces give this burger its stand-out taste.
The in-house cheese, the Provel & cheddar cheese are melted over the soft and savory buns and later on mixed with the crispy and caramelized onions – this makes up for a mouthwatering amalgamation of tastes and textures. We layer it up with our chef’s secret sauce and voila! You’ll be filled after the first few bites, and you’ll want more!
We’d recommend a side of Curly Fries or Big Salad to add some balance out the burger’s creaminess. The Kale Slaw with its shredded kale cabbage, dried cranberries, pecans, and poppy seed dressing is also a great add-on to the melted cheeseburger. We’ve grown up in St. Louis and Buffalo tasting roasted beef sandwiches and a spin of different kinds of veggies and homemade sauces – and T.R. Sandwich Shop is committed to recreating that homely feeling.
The meat in our burger is pure, additive-free, filler-free, and preservative-free. We marinate our cuts and slow roast them for about 10 hours.
