Convention and Conference Photographer Begins Post Shutdown in Washington DC

The conference and convention center at the National Harbor Gaylord Resort in suburban Washington, DC was one of the first convention centers where the photographers at Caught in the Moment Photography returned once the national meetings and convention industry was able to hold in-person events after the restrictions of holding large meetings were lifted.

It was perhaps apropos that suburban Washington, DC was one of the first geographic areas where the conference and convention photographers of Caught in the Moment Photography returned to given that many of the national trade associations are situated in and around Washington, DC.  As a matter of fact that client that was one of the first of the photography studio to hold their annual event in-person is located in the heart of Washington, DC, thus all of the planning logistics were able to be made from across town rather than from across the country as they would normally be made if the conference were to take place at a convention host city.  

Overall the decision to stay local for the conference and convention event planners proved to be a good one since not many other cities around the country had lifted the restrictions that precluded conferences and conventions to take place.  There was minimal travel involved by the convention services providers which minimized the possibility of experiencing mishaps.  The photographers of Caught in the Moment Photography were definitely in the minority in terms of conference and convention service providers that had  to make the trip, but given that there is a long relationship and trust between the photography studio and the national trade association client it was well worth it.
