It's not always sunny in Southern California. At least not for this sign company. But at least the new sign we installed at KOA in Irvine, CA, brightened things up a bit on a gloomy day.
In the image above, you can see the exterior building sign we made for Evolve Dental (also known as KOR Whitening). Located in Irvine, CA, Evolve Dental specializes in the manufacturing and selling of dental and orthodontia supplies. They have a laboratory at this location where they make custom-fitted whitening trays, for tooth whitening. According to various sources on the Internet, the KOR Whitening System is "considered to be the most reliable and effective bleaching system ever developed."
The building sign we made for Evolve Dental was made out of flat-cut, 3/8” thick acrylic, which we then painted white. We mounted the sign with studs, or stand-offs, to the front of the building, in order to add some depth.
There was a tricky aspect to this project that we don't run into all that often. In the image above, you can see that the section of the building where the sign is installed, is rounded. Making and installing signs to a rounded surface like this always make the installation process a little more tricky. But nothing that we haven't done before. The sign looks great, and because it's rounded, it can be seen from a wider range of angles.
