Balboa Capital selected Sign Clemente for its outdoor signage. Because of the ambient lighting available in their business park they decided to stay with non-illuminated letters. Ordinarily, we would go with acrylic on foam letters with a stucco edge which make up about 90% of the non-illuminated letters we install.
However, the building management now requires metal letters with Lexan faces. This type of letter is much more durable, as foam does break down over the years and sometimes birds even like to peck at the foam.
Their old sign was acrylic and foam, and the foam was pretty deteriorated. When signs get like that, they do the opposite of what they are intended for. They can repell a client who may get the wrong idea about the company with a dilapidated sign. But Balboa Capital does not have to worry abou that now. They have a first-class building sign. You can find them off Main Street in Irvine between Jamboree and MacArthur.
