We have not written about fine art paintings before, but this brief article demonstrates the versatility of digital imaging using high resolution solvent ink printers to print paintings. This image was printed in-house using our Roland printer. The image is a stock photograph printed on a cotton polyester material which has long term fade resistant properties, and has a texture similar to canvas, just like a real painting! A frame was chosen to match the tree bark in the foreground. In fact, the picture print turned out so well, we painted the whole room to match.
