Restaurant Sign for Pet Lovers
Milo’s café opened to great fanfare at the end of last February. The new restaurant, located in Lake Forest, focuses on healthy food and charitable events that has a pet-friendly environment and a dog play area, unique in Orange County.
Also unique is their logo. While it was not really designed with signage in mind, it did present a challenge to Caliber Signs to bring such a design to life for a restaurant sign, while meeting the strict sign codes in the city of Lake Forest.
Channel letters are the preferred sign type with the city while sign cabinets are forbidden. The Milo’s logo is a combination of both and is very careful to draw distinction with channel letters and a channel logo.
