Monument signs

Ground level roadside sign structures are usually termed monument signs.  Cities allow them only if there is a required amount of roadside space and length in front of the buildings where they are located. If the building is set quite far from the road, a well designed monument will be one of the first signs you see. They aid would be clients and shoppers to find the location.
