Recently, an elderly client living in Charlotte’s condominium community got in touch with us as he was struggling with water damage. If you have experienced water damage in your life, you can understand that it tends to worsen if it is not controlled during the earlier stages.
Water damage can lead to mold growth, which is bad for two reasons. First of all, it weakens the structure of your home and jeopardizes its foundation. Secondly, it takes a toll upon your health. Some of the most common symptoms of mold exposure are sneezing, coughing, nausea, headaches, runny eyes, nose and throat, and skin allergies.
Elderly individuals are more susceptible to developing illnesses from mold. So we had to address the problem as soon as possible.
We didn’t go into the project blindly. We made sure to identify the root cause of water damage before addressing it. First of all, we used our inspective prowess to zero in on the water leaks, and there were a few. We were only able to detect the leaks because of our client who cooperated with us. After identifying them, we fixed all the leaks, which provided the mold ample moisture and dampness to grow. After the leaks were fixed, we started removing the standing water and the mold, which was an arduous task. However, after some time, we managed to get rid of the mold. After the mold was gone, our client breathed a sigh of relief.
The project was challenging, but it was certainly worth the effort. What motivates us the most is the positive feedback that we receive from our clients. We are happy that our client liked our work.
