You ‘re going to get the undercovers that come in every now and then. Usually you can pick them up if they ask a lot of questions, but they don’t really want to buy anything or ask you to get anything out of it. They ‘re trying to catch you on your terminology, mostly, and they’re asking you about things that are hard to describe, trying to test you.

What should I know to be able to work at a smoke/vape shop?
Much of the time, you need to learn a bit about vaping and how VG and PG communicate with each other, battery safety, and ohm’s law. This also depends on the shop, if they mainly store controlled mods, rda / rta / rdta / tanks, then you’d like to learn a bit about reconstruction, and so on. My local store has quite a few mech mods so it’s a major plus to know the protection specifications to operate them without a battery failure. And it depends on the shop again. If they sell mainly mods, juices, and tanks, learn about them, ohm’s law, and battery safety. If they’ve got mechs, just learn about them, and you’re supposed to be gold. Be polite and curious, too. Poor customer service pushes your company down, and that leads to you being fired or replaced.
