SignWorks completed production of all the brushed aluminum interior and exterior signage for Prevost last week and installed it at their new facility in Hayward this week. Things took a little longer than expected as the installation company failed to complete the tasks at hand and we hand to scramble to get installers on site. Between our production manager and a one of our regular installers we got the job done but it meant trips to pick up posts, concrete, bolts and other hardware ate into our timeline. Thankfully the client is still happy to have selected us!
Luckily, none of the selected locations for the six 15” X 5” visitor parking signs or the three 36” by 32.5” double sided aluminum post and panel wayfinding signs were near any underground utilities. We had marked the locations previously and contacted 811 to confirm this before digging any sign posts. Overall the project consisted of 66 aluminum signs in various thicknesses and dimensions, including three 15” X 10” address signs which were added at the last minute. The client is also adding two additional 36” by 32.5” directional wayfinding signs to their order. More about that later.
