SignWorks is pleased to report the completion of our sign project for Beacon Properties in Oakland. The project took over a year to complete as the owners had problems securing the blueprints or core drawings we needed in order to design and fabricate 10 evacuation maps needed at the facility. Our site survey revealed that several other signs were needed including fire safety, exit signs and ADA stairwell signs. We created layouts for the exterior FACP sign, seven exit signs, and eight larger 12” X 18” ADA stairwell signs. The exit signs featured specialty vinyl to ensure high visibility even at night. Once the design was approved we fabricated the signs and set them aside until we received the building core drawings. Phase two of the project entailed laying out the evacuation maps and delivering approval copies for our client to take to the fire department. Once approved, we began to fabrication process. We installed all the signs throughout the property just yesterday.
