One of our favorite vehicle graphics projects (shown here) was a very creatively designed logo graphic coupled with cut vinyl lettering. The design and color selection proved to be very affordable, yet effective and eye catching. It just goes to show that a clever design that conveys what the business is about along with highly legible contact details, can cost effectively deliver results comparable to pricey radio and television ads.
In fact, in 2008 3M conducted a research project that demonstrated that a single intra-city truck with graphics can generate up to 16 million visual impressions in one year. The San Francisco based study was done over a three-month period. It demonstrated that by investing just pennies on the dollar per one thousand impressions, that companies can get a real bargain when they compare this cost to radio, television or newspaper ads that cost between $4 and $24 for similar levels of exposure.
