SignWorks had recently completed some property restriction signs working alongside staff at the Union City Townhouse Association. During that process staff identified a need for some reflective signs for the various play areas within the complex. They wanted to be able to designate specific play areas based on the age of the child and to confirm the level of supervision required for safety reasons. They decided on a total of twelve aluminum 12” by 18” signs done in bright red reflective with red text as pictured here.
Once the board approved the text we moved forward in fabricating the signs made with .063 aluminum with Engineering Grade Reflective vinyl. We then used our plotter to produce the white text and border and applied this to each sign blank using application tape. The reflective quality of the signs ensures that the signs will be highly visible, even at night. The chunky font selected will also aid with visibility and make the signs easy to read even for little ones.
Like most homeowner associations, Union City Townhouse Association’s, primary purpose is to protect the residence and common areas while simultaneously preserving the property’s value. Their job is to ensure that the property is well maintained and attractive and that the value of the property is preserved. They are responsible for maintaining architectural control, be it landscaping, structures or facilities. All owners are automatically members of the association and are governed by the rules are as set forth in the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs) as recorded with the County of Alameda.
