SignWorks has now completed the entire Coliseum Transit Village signage for Cahill Contractors renovation project. The ADA (Americans with Disabilities) signs were completed last week and are already in route to the jobsite. These braille and tactile tenant signs, include 114 unit identification signs sized at 5-1/2” by 5-1/2” and 24 room identification signs that are 10” wide and 3-1/2” tall. Other ADA signs in various sizes and quantities include exit route, maximum occupancy, fire, stair identification, accessibility and restroom signs. Overall it was a large project and we were happy to have been the selected signage vendor for it and to have the right wholesale fabricator for the project. The picture we included is a general representation of what ADA signs look like. We will update it once the signs are installed and the actual pictures are available.
We had recently completed the fabrication of their 15 large evacuation maps required to meet Oakland Fire Department guidelines, as well as the reflective accessible parking signs. The building address numbers in ½” thick brushed aluminum and supplied by our wholesale partner, Gemini, were also delivered previously. Gemini is an industry leader in the production of dimensional signs and their products carry a lifetime warranty.
SignWorks is an expert in the creation and fabrication of evacuation maps and ADA signs and we are midway through several other evacuation map projects in Oakland and San Leandro. These include Pacific Plaza in San Leandro, and the Rossi Building and Epic Charter School in Oakland. And, there are other evacuation map projects in Oakland as well.
