We originally had provided three different sized DiBond signs for Seeds of Awareness, an Oakland based non-profit. They had worked with a private designer to integrate their logo into the signs, the largest one being 60” tall and 72” wide. As it turns out the larger sign, meant to be the main building sign, is too large and very difficult to mount given the uneven terrain directly beneath it. The cost of the lift needed to mount it could not be justified and they decided to make a smaller more easily mountable sign. As shown in the picture, the new sign is 24’ tall and 72” wide. To help them to economize we reused and cut down the original DiBond panel, an aluminum sheeting material used for exterior signs. .
Housed in a local church, Seeds of Awareness is a counseling organization dedicated to transforming schools and communities by cultivating things like empathy, connection and support. This non-profit offers counseling and mentorship programs that teach social-emotional learning in the classroom to include mindfulness training and nature-based social skills to groups in the local community.
