SignWorks, Inc, Hayward, CA is more than a sign manufacturing company. A good portion of our business involves removing existing signs and restoring the façade it was attached to. We can also install signs purchased from a sign company in another city or state. For example, some franchisors contract all their signage with one large national company that ships them to franchisees around the country, to be installed by a local sign company. SignWorks has been a trusted sign installation and removal partner for many companies since 2008. On the sign removal side of our business, when a company vacates a location, the property purchase agreement or landlord typically requires all signs to be removed on or shortly after the move out date. Although the company usually knows weeks or months in advance that they will be moving, sign removal is often among the last things to be arranged. Such was the case when Fastenal closed its Foster City, CA location recently. Because Fastenal has contracted with SignWorks before, to install dimensional letter signs in two other locations, we were a natural fit for this project. Within four days, SignWorks had removed and disposed of the sign and patched the façade, using a scissor lift.
