_________________________________________________________________________________________ We love doing unusual projects and workings with design firms to get just the right look on a finished project! Such was the case when we worked with Storyland Studios on a series of vending machine wraps for their client. The company is based in Southern California. The wrap vinyl and color palate (pinks, gray and silver) had been pre-selected and shipped to the client for installation. Unfortunately, when our crew arrived there was some confusion regarding the interpretation of the lay-out drawing and the pre-sized graphic panels were not an exact fit. The crew was able to salvage the situation by doing some skilled contour cutting in the field. This way they totally avoided delaying the project by having to order new graphics and wait for them to arrive from Southern California. This first installation involved 9 vending machines and there are other batches of vending machines scheduled over the upcoming months. We are also investigating printing the panels at our local production facility so as to ensure more accurate sizing. Side benefits include the fact that reprinting and adjusting the sizing can be done in advance and errors corrected prior to installation. This makes the installation much more efficient.
